Editorial Standards
How Personal Finance Fundamentals selects topics, uses sources, handles calculations and corrects material.
Principles
We aim for accuracy, clarity, usefulness and restraint. Financial education is most useful when it distinguishes general principles from country-specific rules and when uncertainty is stated rather than hidden.
Sources
Preference is given to regulators, government financial-education agencies, central banks and investor-education authorities. Commercial sources may be used for examples but are not treated as neutral authorities on products they sell.
Calculators
Calculators show transparent arithmetic using user-entered assumptions. They are educational tools, not forecasts, credit decisions, investment recommendations or professional planning software.
Corrections
Material errors can be reported through the contact page. We may revise content when official guidance changes or when wording could mislead readers.
